Private schools are for rich twerps!!! There, that's done I sincerely disapprove the fact that if you have alot of money, you get a better education. Now now play nice. Not all rich people are twerps. I go to a public school, I quite like it there. Mind you air con would be nice. haha. But alot of my mates go to private school. There nice people. you shouldnt stereotype. =)

According to this, I'm a rich twerp then. But yeah, to that other guy (last post on previous page), here in Canberra-land we have smart boards too, and all this fancy stuff, that half the time never works either...

Okay so top this, we get the stupid teachers that no other school wants, my English teacher tried to tell me that the matrix was a "spiritual world", "an upper plane", Why would you say that? it was clearly a computer program. (Oh and ask Tov about his teacher)

I would never go to a private school, simply because my REAL LIFE EXPERIENCES OF THEM (not stereotypes) tell me that their student base are mostly fairly stuck up people who think they are superior to anyone who can't afford any of these places.

I go to a state grammar, so it's not really a divehole as you get all the smart kids cos you have to pass your 11+ to go there, but it's not fee-paying so you don't get all the rich kids showing off either. I like it there, even if the chav population is too large. But I suppose it's better than any of our local comprehensives; half are on special measures.

I wish we had the same sort of setup with the test to get in.
I thought they abolished the 11+ test?

Nope, they did in most areas but there's a few in the UK that keep it, our borough being one of them. I prefer it to the neighbouring borough though, all the comps there have really high teen pregnancy rates and such. A close friend of mine went to one and said that there was a girl went into labour in the changing rooms

Do you think it stops teen pregnancy? Maybe it stops some problems while creating others...

^^ This ^^ I know heaps of very smart people who are still sexually promiscuous, into binge drinking, smoke and occasionally experiment with drugs...
