It is just a huge piece of sensationalist journalism. It basically is a minor outbreak of something that is very dangerous that has been made completely over-exaggerated by the media. No-one has died that hasn't been to Mexico.

you have a point, think about it, if all these people are getting put away from the public how come the numbers rise by like 30-45 every night, today vic has 100 on its own.

The strain of Swine Flu that reached Australia is no worse than the common cold. Also, on that note your figures are ridiculous, while that maybe the number of people in tests or in quarentine nowhere near that amount of people actually have the virus. Also, total LOL on the health advice about it

The syptoms are exactly the same as normal flu, this is causing mass panic. Allthough its allready a running joke at my school, if you see someone coughing, yell "Swine flu" and run away

On the last day at my school, the six formers all wore masks and I went up to one of them and said "You are so lucky there is a flu pandemic in your last days at school"

I like our danger rating "Protect" Translated to: Basically we couldn't do f**k to keep it out but now it's in it isn't to bad but it's still here so you should watch out.
Also, after the happy-slappy giving out of tammy-flu in the early stages of the epidemic we now have like none left and it's being saved for those most in danger of having bad symtoms as most people only get the cold from it.
