there was a tropical storm (should have mentioned it but you didnt), it caused electrical difficulties (so they say or think), and the plane crashed in the ocean (so they think), they have a group going out today to find some recage and to check the serial number.

They say it may have been struck by lightening... It's possible, but it shouldn't bring down an Airbus... It's a catastrophic loss. But you can still find black boxes 1 and a half years later. It has been done before.
