Has anyone seen this film? It's about a pirate radio in 1966 based on a boat on the northern sea, and it's hilarious. Another plus is the relly great music, all along the film. If you've seen it, what did you think about it?

Awesome film. I wrote a review of it somewhere. I'll find it for you all.
Here we are:
The Boat That Rocked has received a lot of publicity recently and I had been majorly looking forward to seeing it as I knew that the cast contained a plethora of my favourite comedy actors and actresses including Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz/Shaun Of The Dead), Chris O'Dowd (The IT Crowd), Rhys Darby (Yes Man) and Katherine Parkinson (The IT Crowd).
It tells the story of Radio Rock, a pirate radio station anchored in the North Sea in 1966 that plays rock music twenty four hours a day. Their army of charismatic and edgy DJs garner them a huge following but also a strong enemy in the British government, specifically MP Domandy (Kenneth Brannagh) and his assisstant Twatt. On the boat, there is drama after drama involving sex, alcohol and all manner of other antics.
Happily, the film did not disappoint me in the slightest, instead surpassing even the high expectations I had of it. I loved all of the characters and was surprised at the awesome comedic performance from Bill Nighy who always seemed like more of a serious actor to me. It balanced clever gags with immature jokes often centering around the use of the name Twatt in hilarious circumstances, never failing to make me giggle. Group together the brilliant comedy with the intriguing plotline and you have a fantastic recipe for a film. All in all, it was a light-hearted enjoyable romp that was definitely a worthy way to spend an afternoon.
