Ok, I should have organised this a long time ago but I've been really struggling. First I looked into newspapers but they were all full up, then music teaching but i couldn't do High School because of the age and no primaries around my area are any good. Currently looking at music shops and I'm gunna ring the guy this arvo. What do I say? I know all the basics but what sort of words make me sound appealing for a work experience kid?

I never got around to doing it, but that's because the career coordinator hated me and never gave me half the forms I needed. (god damn her)

I'm doing mine in July for two weeks. I have a placement at the local branch of Macmillan Cancer Support doing press and IT work.
I tried newspapers first, but none of them insure anyone my age to do it and those that did were full up.

It's really difficult as a kid to get work experience with newspapers. I had a placement all lined up at one, then it closed down a week before I was meant to go there. I ended up in a local school because I hadn't time in the middle of my GCSEs to sort somewhere else out. Wasn't too bad, actually, and I'm doing work exp. in France in a couple of weeks
